Eliana’s research focuses on experiences of  alcohol and other drug addiction, treatment and recovery within the Australian criminal justice system. Prior to undertaking her PhD, Eliana  was employed as a social worker supporting individuals  with a range of needs resulting from homelessness, mental illness, alcohol and other drug use issues, and history of offending and incarceration.
